Each family or company can discuss with their LCP manager at what level they want to survive in emergency situations and which life extension they want to make use of. 

Back-up systems

Once you have selected one of the seven survival levels, your bunker will be adjusted to match your chosen level of survivability.

The backup system is the most important component of any bunker. It determines how long you can survive. This depends on having sufficient supplies of water, fresh air, electricity, food, medication, and many other essential resources. There is no point in owning a bunker if your family can only survive in it for three months.
Every requirement is carefully assessed based on the number of people who need to survive and the intended duration of stay. Bunkers are equipped with a minimum of one year of autonomous backup systems. Most bunker owners, however, choose between 3, 6, or even 9 years of self-sufficiency.
